Producing digital content in these days of advanced technology becomes more and more easy.
In fact it’s so simple that even basic equipment such as a smart phone or tablet is all that is needed – and anyone, young or old, who is able to point and shoot a camera can capture awesome memories on film. But more than this!
Have you heard of a unique and amazing app called ‘Flock, Video With Friends’? It’s available on Apple Store and Google Play Store. Friends who have attended a special event send their best clips to the app. A smart video editor is elected from the group of friends who attended the event and at the touch of the screen, the editor then combines all their chosen best downloaded clips to produce one video of all the given content. Simple. Free. Incredible – if it were not credible!
It’s similar to WhatsApp insofar as friends who experienced the special occasion are invited to join the particular group specifically for the event. ‘Flock Video With Friends’ would be similar to other video edit apps but there is a BIG difference: Flock produces the content of the video from the clips and stills gathered from many digital sources and brings them all together as one dedicated item for the enjoyment of every member of the group who contributed, allowing them to experience aspects of the event from even another friend’s perspective.

So, there is no problem if you have missed a moment: undoubtedly one of the friends will have captured and posted it. It’s super smart how Flock uses the cloud to gather the media and then, once processed, forwards it to your phone for you to save as a complete memory.

It’s quite a smart idea to use the Flock app even just for your own personal video library. Sometimes I capture memories of a personal project and then use it as a way of filtering all my special occasions into one video. For example, in the summer I started a Flock video project on one subject but then was having some fun times with my family and was able to also incorporate video clips and photos of them to the app project: this turned into a whole a summer project – so worth keeping for ever.
